The core of my ministry is to bring attention to 4 highly overlapping and related aspects of the human experience – Mystery-Truth, The Sacred, Consciousness and Esotericism – and the essential relevance they have to how much satisfaction you experience from life in general and in each moment.. I have spent over 40 years, beginning as a child, deeply exploring these territories.

Mystery-Truth – There is no aspect of life that if you examine with enough care and openness that won’t reveal that it is born of mystery, utterly saturated and surrounded by mystery, never parts from mystery and will eventually dissolve into mystery. Yet humans try desperately to hide from this pervasive and unavoidable truth and much of human civilization and all its misery are a result of this desperation. I hyphenate it with Truth because it is pointing to the same thing that the phrase Absolute Truth is pointing to. Absolute Truth is always mystery to the conceptual mind and Absolute Truth is what you find when you inquire into things that have no conceptual answer.

The Sacred – The Sacred is the natural radiance of Mystery and is the tone ones experience takes when attention turns towards mystery without fear. It is also a label for anything that opens one to the experience of mystery-truth.

Consciousness – The one and only element that is present in every experience you have had, are having now, and will ever have is that which perceives experience. Upon examination it can be easily discovered consciousness is not only universally present in all experience it also the supreme factor in the quality of all experience. It is consciousness that organizes the communities of life we call bodies. In the absence of this organizing consciousness we call bodies corpses.

Esotericism – refers those aspects of life that lie outside, or at best in the periphery, of consensus human perception. These dimension of our human experience don’t readily lend themselves to measurement or definitive labeling – two of our most cherished guardian against mystery.

This Ministry when articulated in relation to these four arenas, is

• To awaken people to the fact these arenas are meaningful to everyone’s life and are fundamentally relevant to the quality of one’s life as a whole and to anything that might be labeled as problems or goals.
• to encourage and help people
  • to attend and open to mystery,
  • to broaden and deepen their experience of the Sacred,
  • to understand consciousness in a way that supports ongoing and dramatic increase in the units of satisfaction you get per unit of experience.
  • Make positive use of the esoteric aspects of life

Another way to sum up the message of my Ministry is this:

The world of all possible phenomena (“reality”), whether you label them as external or internal can either be experienced as a Prison or a Playground (or a spectrum between) and it is always ones relationship to and lived understanding of Mystery, The Sacred, and Consciousness that are the determinants of where in the spectrum your experience tends to abide. The cause of prison or playground is never and can never be found in the perceived phenomena themselves. Until one understands this there is a strong tendency to try to use Esotericism to get all the best furniture, carpets hot tubs and video games to make your prison cell as cozy as possible. Once this is understood Esotericism can be use to support you prison breaking activities, the prison breaking of others  as well as extend the experiential range of your playground and maximize the probability for the best possible near and distant futures for oneself the world.
